Peter was inspired to carve this piece after reading lobsters are apparently the only creatures we still kill at ‘home’ before eating – death by boiling!

Also his own encounter with live lobsters in a lobster pot on a beach following a storm. Needless to say, Peter being Peter released them all!

This is an intricately carved piece revealing the lobsters ‘hanging out’ of their cell with some resigned and comical expressions. Inside is a tiny treasure lobster
