Eggsplosion

Description

The best thing about keeping chickens is that we never need to buy eggs!

However, just occasionally our free range chickens live up to their status and start laying anywhere – in the hedgerows or the stable or in the hay bales. Often we don’t find the eggs until a huge pile has accrued. Maybe an air tag would help but it seems a bit ‘eggstreme’.

I’m ashamed to say I began carving this piece in early 2023 – it’s been a work in progress for some time but is now well and truly ready to order!
